Workshop Registration and Refund Policy

A full refund will be given if you cancel 3 weeks prior to the workshop series starting. See below for COVID-related cancellations.
A 50% refund will be given if you cancel 2 weeks prior to a class starting. See below for COVID-related cancellations.
No refund will be given if your cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the class starting date unless your reason for cancelling is COVID-related.
Workshop registration fees are due in full at time of registration.
There are no refunds or make-up classes for missed classes.
Tuition is non-transferable.
Tools and firing fees are not included in tuition.
Ceramics NZ reserves the right to cancel workshops with insufficient enrolment. A full refund will be issued if this is the case.

COVID-related Cancellations:

If a participant is unable to attend due to COVID, a full refund will be given if notified 24 hours before the workshop begins.

If a workshop is paid for and interrupted due to COVID, we will reschedule these workshops at the earliest possible contingency date. If we are unable to reschedule a partial refund will be arranged for any cancelled classes.

If a full workshop series is cancelled or postponed due to COVID we will reschedule these events at a later date. Refunds will be possible if no suitable alternative date can be found. 

This tour has been planned to run under the COVID Protection Framework (traffic light system) and the changing environment of COVID 19. Workshops may run with or without vaccine passes according to the venue requirements. Please ensure you have read and understood the requirements for your workshop venue and how these may adapt for changing traffic light levels.

Red and Orange Levels

Vaccine Pass Venues (some venues may decide to continue with vaccine passes)

  • Participants will need a vaccine pass to attend workshops and these must be made available to scan/checked at the door of vaccine pass venues.
  • Participants must stay at home if experiencing any covid symptoms, are waiting on a COVID test result and follow any government recommendations if they are identified as a contact.
  • Participants must follow COVID healthy habits recommendations while attending the workshops, including handwashing and sanitising.
  • Participants will be required to physical distance where possible and according to the venue requirements.
  • Masks are to be worn if required by the venue. (Not required under Orange.)

Without a Vaccine Pass

  • Participants must stay at home if experiencing any covid symptoms, are waiting on a COVID test result and follow any government recommendations if they are identified as a contact.
  • Participants must follow COVID healthy habits recommendations while attending the workshops, including handwashing and sanitising.
  • Participants will be required to physical distance where possible and according to the venue requirements.

Participants will be required to bring their own food and refreshments. The use of kitchen facilities for coffee/tea water will be discussed and arranged if available.

In the event that a registered participant cannot attend due to illness or COVID-like symptoms, a refund will be offered, or an alternative workshop option will be made for a later date. Please contact touringpotter@ceramicsnz.org.
