Firebirds Ceramic group – Whangarei – Rayburn House

Firebirds, Whangarei will hold a new exhibition at Reyburn House with an opening night on April 14th.  Join us for wine and nibbles as we showcase works inspired by song titles, such as ‘Bluebirds Over White Cliffs of Dover’, ‘Puff the Magic Dragon’, ‘Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini’, ‘ I ain’t got nobody’, Two Little Dickie Birds.  

All artwork will be available for purchase and opening night is a 5pm start.

QCA 2026 – Quarry Ceramic Awards.

Exhibition opens & Awards night: 10th April 2026, 5pm 

Works will be judged anonymously, with a whole host of prizes on offer, including:Premier Award of $2000 cash, plus prizes from our sponsors, Driving Creek Residency Award, Kiwi Underglaze ‘Use of Colour’ Award, Youth Award (25yrs old & under) and Quarry Kilns award equivalent to $500 of kiln firings & more.
