Firstly thankyou for inviting me to be part of Ceramics NZ. I hope that I will be able to make a useful contribution to the workings of the Association.

I have had clay on my hands at different times over many years and have in the last three years, upon retirement, had the joy of enjoying a relaxed time in the clay.  This is after a twenty year break where at the time I was in production of domestic ware for the local and overseas market selling in various outlets and from my home as a tourist attraction on the West Coast and in Mid Canterbury. I have a strong belief that domestic ware can be both beautiful and useful and am ever so glad that I have kept all my equipment.

I will always be grateful to all the people that have shared their knowledge with me and therefore I am keen to share knowledge with other potters, and give encouragement.
