Covid-19 Protection Framework for Pottery Clubs and Studios
Covid-19 Protection Framework for Pottery Clubs and Studios
The introduction of the traffic light system on December 3rd has created some confusion for clubs and pottery studios wondering how they fit in and can operate under the new framework. Below weโve put together some links and guidance that will be relevant to pottery clubs and studios.
- Most clubs and studios will be able to choose whether they will require those entering their premises to present a vaccine pass or not. It is a good idea to carry out a risk assessment to help make this decision. Worksafe provide a guide to this process: https://www.worksafe.govt.nz/managing-health-and-safety/novel-coronavirus-covid/how-to-decide-what-work-requires-a-vaccinated-employee/
- You will need to establish what activities you carry out and how you will meet the requirements, for example (event rules, public and private gathering rules, food and beverage rules, retail rules). Then apply these under the traffic light restriction level of your area. https://www.business.govt.nz/covid-19/covid-19-protection-framework/
- You can switch between having the Vaccine Pass or no Vaccine Pass requirement and not as long as cleaning is undertaken between groups and you follow the rules when switching.
- Whatever you decide you must clearly communicate what settings your operating under and display all the required signage. You can download all these posters here: https://covid19.govt.nz/languages-and-resources/posters/#my-vaccine-pass-posters
