Entries are now open for the 4th Annual Open Ceramics Art Awards, hosted by the Quarry Arts Centre. The Great Plate Annual Fundraiser for the Quarry Arts Centre is happening again this July. Around 100 artists support the fundraiser by contributing to design planes that are then put up for sale on Trademe. This year well-known fantasy author and television producer Neil Gaiman has designed plates while he is in New Zealand. The listings go up on Thursday 29 July and will run for 1 week.
