OTAGO POTTERS GROUP
Otago Potters Group had a successful Winter Market Day in August. A great opportunity for the community to  support local makers and score some awesome ceramics treasures!
They also hosted Holly Morgan of Morgan Made for a throwing workshop, learning how to upscale. It’s really great to have people visiting from other areas!
OPG continues to fire their Soda Kiln regularly, learning something new with each firing! Check them out on instagram @otago_potters_group
There are various learning opportunities throughout the region, including:
Wakatipu Potters running classes in Queenstown: Home | Wakatipu Potters
In Dunedin The Pottery is also running a range of classes and opportunities to get your hands in clay. And they are moving to new premises soon in Port Chalmers – watch this space!
