“A few changes are happening around the Group as we transition to streamed wheel work classes with beginner and intermediate streams and welcome a new tutor, Mark Hyslop. We are excited for August’s upcoming workshops with Fiona Tunnicliffe and Renate Galetzka, catering to both hand builders and wheel workers. Members have started firing up the gas and raku kilns (pictured) to prepare work for this year’s exhibition, to be held from the 13th – 15th September, at the Malthouse on Colombo St. We are excited to showcase our work in a beautiful new environment and historic building. The HPG gallery is filled with beautiful pots, perfect for the birthday season, and we have a special July display of sculptures from our sculpture group. Feel free to visit our cottage on the weekends, 11am – 3pm, to shop our gallery and chat with the friendly gallery attendants about membership or classes.”
